US fund manager Invesco is set to transfer €6.2bn of assets under management from Ireland to Luxembourg to consolidate its funds.
The fund manager stated that it opted for the grand duchy given the large volume of assets already managed within its Luxembourg Sicav structure ($85 billion across 75 sub-funds).
Invesco also believes that this “single-door” approach should increase efficiency for investors and make the structure easier to understand. At this time, Inveso has said it has no plans to leave Ireland completely.
